25 Things to Do in Toronto, Canada

I was born and raised in Ontario, Canada (I lived just a bit outside the city of Toronto). For this reason, I might be a bit biased when I say I think it is one of the best cities in the world! Did you know Toronto is the largest city in Canada? It has a…

Welcome to our room at the Westin Anaheim! 🤩 [host Welcome to our room at the Westin Anaheim! 🤩 [hosted]

Waking up to views of Disney California Adventure and ending the night with fireworks from our balcony felt so special. It was comfortable, spacious, and had those little thoughtful touches that make traveling so much easier.

We were hosted at the Westin Anaheim for our stay, and this resort was truly such a dream! Highly recommend that you check it out for your next Disneyland getaway ✨

If you’re traveling with a toddler, club level mig If you’re traveling with a toddler, club level might be the biggest game changer 🤩

I know it’s a splurge, but having access to the club lounge at the @westinanaheim made our trip so much easier. Being able to grab a quick breakfast before heading to the parks, stop in for coffee and a little downtime during the day, and enjoy evening hors d’oeuvres (and a glass of wine 🍷) after a long park day felt like such a luxury.

With a toddler, those little conveniences add up quickly. It meant starting our Disney days with a hearty breakfast, buying fewer snacks throughout the day, and having delicious appetizers waiting for us each night.

For us, less planning = more relaxing.

It ended up being one of our favorite parts of staying here. We were hosted at the Westin Anaheim for our stay, and the club access was such a great perk for our family 🫶

Have you ever stayed club level at a hotel before?

If you’re planning a Disney trip, this hotel deser If you’re planning a Disney trip, this hotel deserves a spot on your list! ✨

We stayed at the @westinanaheim during our last visit to Disneyland, and it quickly became one of our new favorite Anaheim resorts! [hosted]

The location made park days so easy since we could walk to the parks in about 20 minutes, and it was so nice not having to fold up our stroller to get there.

Our room had the most beautiful views of California Adventure, and we could even watch the Disneyland fireworks right from our balcony!

Having breakfast in the Westin Club was such a great way to start our mornings, and the evening hors d’oeuvres (and happy hour! 🍷) were the perfect treat after a long day in the parks.

There’s also a gorgeous pool and hot tub that’s perfect for a mid-day break or a rest day, and the dining options at the hotel were so good that we actually wanted to leave the park to come eat here instead.

The Westin has that relaxed luxury feel we love while still being welcoming and comfortable for families! When you’re traveling with a toddler, those little details make such a big difference.

So grateful to the Westin Anaheim for hosting our stay. We already can’t wait to come back! ✨

One of the best decisions we’ve made as parents is One of the best decisions we’ve made as parents is choosing experiences together over waiting for the “perfect time” ✨

The snacks will spill, the naps won’t always happen, and sometimes the day won’t go exactly as planned.

But the laughs, the little moments, the memories you make together… those are the things your kids will carry with them forever!

Most of our favorite family memories have come from saying yes to the trip, even when it felt a little chaotic.

Traveling with kids isn’t always easy, but for us it’s always worth it.

If you’ve ever wondered whether traveling with little ones is worth it… this is your sign to take the trip! ✈️

Nothing beats a Disney morning like this 😍 Waking Nothing beats a Disney morning like this 😍

Waking up to that stunning park view, grabbing breakfast in the club lounge, and then walking to Disneyland with our toddler… I think we discovered the perfect way to start a Disney day.

We just got back from the most magical Disneyland vacation with our toddler and made so many special memories that will last a lifetime!

We stayed at the @westinanaheim and it was the perfect home base for our trip. Our room had an incredible park view, we had club access (where we ate breakfast every morning and enjoyed happy hour and evening hors d’oeuvres most nights), and it’s an easy walk to both Disneyland parks.

We’re so happy we had the opportunity to stay at the Westin Anaheim. Thank you so much for hosting our family this week, we already can’t wait to come back!

When your toddler finally falls asleep mid-park, it’s the perfect time to wander around and soak in the atmosphere, take turns riding some of the bigger rides, or yes… enjoy some ice cream in peace 😌

If you have a little one who still naps, how would you spend your little bit of adult-only Disney time?

We’ve stayed at a lot of hotels at Disneyland… and We’ve stayed at a lot of hotels at Disneyland… and this one genuinely blew us away! 🤩

From our gorgeous view of Disney California Adventure right from our room, to being able to walk to both parks, we absolutely loved this hotel. The club lounge breakfasts (and evening hors d’oeuvres and happy hour👏), the beautiful pool and hot tub for mid-day breaks, the DELICIOUS dining options on-site…. This hotel is the perfect mix of relaxed luxury and family-friendly!

It’s the kind of resort that makes early mornings and late nights in the parks more manageable with little ones, and makes a rest day as fun as a park day.

The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming, and our room was full of thoughtful touches like the Sleep Well lavender balm we put on each night before bed. And the restaurants were so good they had us canceling our in-park reservations to come back and eat here instead.

We are so grateful to be hosted by the Westin Anaheim for this stay (and as always, all opinions are our own), and it’s safe to say that @westinanaheim has absolutely earned its spot at the top of our Disneyland list!

If you’re thinking about taking your toddler to Un If you’re thinking about taking your toddler to Universal, here’s our honest breakdown 👀

We went to Universal Orlando Resort when she was 2 years old and exactly 34” tall, and while we had a really fun time, the ride list was definitely… limited.

➡️ There were a few rides she could do that she absolutely loved (the Constellation Carousel was her favorite) and the parks are still immersive and exciting, with lots of characters to meet, shows to see and some really fun play areas. She’s still talking about the Viking Training Camp at Epic Universe!

➡️ But no, the rides are just not the same level of baby/toddler-friendly as some other destinations.

A few thoughts after actually doing it:
✨ Height requirements make a huge difference at this age. 2 extra inches would’ve “unlocked” a lot more rides for her
✨ One ride without a height requirements was surprisingly intense (please learn from us 😅)
✨ The Rider Swap + Family Room setup is genuinely great and makes it doable for the adults to enjoy the big rides even when traveling with little ones
✨ Play areas, meeting characters, and just soaking in the atmosphere go a longggg way at this age!

We timed this trip with the opening of Epic Universe, which was incredible, but if I’m being honest I would’ve preferred to wait until she is 36”, and I can’t wait to go back with her once she reaches that!

Some people think there’s such a thing as “too man Some people think there’s such a thing as “too many” Disney trips… we disagree 🤭

Because when we picture her childhood, this is what we see. Little feet walking through the parks, special moments with characters, the biggest, sweetest smiles, and riding the carousel over and over again. 🎠

No one ever says, “I wish we made fewer memories.”

If we’re guilty of anything, it’s soaking in every bit of magic we can while she still believes it’s all real 🥰

The heartwarming stories (a mix of Disney film retellings and original productions), the incredibly talented performers, the special effects and artistry… the Walt Disney Theatre truly feels like Broadway at sea!

Our almost 3-year-old has been on 12 cruises (starting at just 6 months old), and these shows have always been a highlight for all of us. Watching her spot her favorite characters, clap along to the music, reach for the confetti, and talk about her favorite moments afterward never gets old.

We know bringing a baby or toddler to a theater can feel intimidating. Will they sit still? Will they be too loud? Is it even worth it?

In this post, we’re sharing the tips that have helped make seeing the Broadway-style shows smoother, stress-free, and magical for our family.

If you’re cruising with little ones and wondering whether to attempt the shows, we hope this helps you feel confident heading into your evening onboard! 🚢✨
