Please review the information below so that you are ready to make your Park Pass reservations!

What is the Park Pass Reservation System?

To manage attendance during the reopening period, Disney is introducing the new Disney Park Pass reservation system. This will help them to lower crowds and limit capacity in each park. Guests will now require both a valid park admission AND a Park Pass reservation in order to enter the park. You will make your Park Pass reservations in your My Disney Experience account through a new online tool.

Setting Up Your My Disney Experience Account

If you have not yet already done so, you will need to have your My Disney Experience account set up. Your resort reservation and park tickets must be linked to your account and your My Family & Friends list up-to-date. We highly recommend doing this now so that you are ready when the reservations open.

When Can I Start Making Park Pass Reservations?

Guests with an existing Disney Resort hotel reservation for 2020 and valid theme park admission will be able to start making your Park Pass reservations beginning on Monday, June 22.

The Disney Park Pass reservation system will open for Annual Passholders on Friday, June 26.

For other existing ticketholders, the Park Pass system will open on Sunday, June 28.

Going forward, you will make your Park Pass reservations right away after booking your WDW vacation. You will want to make sure Park Passes are available for your selected dates prior to booking your trip. There will be a calendar where you can check current availability prior to purchasing tickets or booking your vacation package. I highly recommend you make your park reservations as soon as possible for your trip. Availability is limited and we want you to have the best chance at getting the reservations you want!

Walt Disney World vacation packages for 2021 are coming this week, too. Disney has stated they will be available “by June 28”, however we know Disney is planning for an earlier release on June 24. Based on availability, sales of 2020 tickets and Disney Resort hotel packages will open later this summer (no specified date).

How to Make a Park Pass Reservation

When the system opens, you will log in to your My Disney Experience account to make your Park Pass reservations. You will have access to a calendar of available reservation dates for each theme park. For multi-day tickets, you will be required to make a Park Pass reservation for each day of your ticket. You will select the members of your party and select your desired park for each day for the length of your ticket.

In order to confirm your Park Pass reservations, you will also need to check a box stating that you agree to Disney’s terms and conditions, including their COVID-19 liability waiver. For this reason, Disney requires that guests makes their own Park Pass reservations.

Additional Notes About Park Pass Reservations

  • As of right now, Park Pass reservations can only be made for 1 park per day. We do not know how soon Park Hopping will return. Park Hopper tickets will be available for 2021 so it seems like Disney is planning to bring this option back soon.
  • If all members of your party do not have the same ticket type you will need to reserve your Park Pass reservations separately. For example, if some guests are Annual Passholders while others have regular tickets, or some are resort guests while others are day guests.
  • Park Pass reservations can be made for up to 12 guests at a time. If you have more than 12 people, you will need to make the reservations separately in smaller groups.
  • Once made, you will be able to modify your Park Pass reservations if your plans change. However, any modifications to existing Park Pass reservations will be subject to current availability. Do not cancel your original Park Pass reservation until you have confirmed that your new desire one is available!

We hope this guide helps you as you prepare to use the new DISNEY PARK PASS SYSTEM. While the experience will look a bit different, we can’t wait to get back into the parks. We are so ready to experience the MAGIC again! Are you planning to visit Walt Disney World in 2020 or 2021?
