Today, Disney Cruise Line released tons of exciting details about the new Disney Wish cruise ship! The Disney Wish will be the 5th ship in the fleet and will set sail in June 2022. This new ship will immerse guests in the stories of Disney, Pixar, Marvel & Star Wars like never before. Combining innovative design, cutting-edge technology and classic storytelling, the Disney Wish seamlessly brings Disney magic to life in new and unexpected ways. All while creating the next generation in family entertainment! We are so excited for this new ship and can’t wait to experience all these magical details for ourselves. AquaMouse – The First Disney Attraction at Sea

First, one thing we are super excited for is the first-ever Disney attraction at sea, the AquaMouse! Join Mickey and Minnie on an exhilarating water adventure. Enter into a colorful cartoon world inspired by the famous Mickey Mouse animated shorts. Awash in “immersive” show scenes, music, lighting and special effects, this fun-filled water experience invites Disney fans to glide up, down, around and off the side of the ship through 760 feet of twisting tubes—providing breathtaking views of the ocean—before splashing down into a lazy river. This takes the existing AquaDuck (on the Disney Dream and Fantasy) to a whole new level!

New, Innovative Main Dining Experiences

Three new restaurants onboard the Disney Wish will allow guests to experience Disney’s popular rotational dining.

Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure

Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure will invite guests to be a part of the world’s first Frozen-themed, theatrical dining experience. You’ll be magically transported to the enchanting Kingdom of Arendelle aboard the Disney Wish. Queen Anna and Kristoff are celebrating their engagement and have invited you, their honored Guest, to join them. Behold festive musical performances from Elsa and Olaf as you devour hearty Norwegian-inspired cuisine made by Oaken himself. It’s a dinner worth melting for!

Worlds of Marvel

At Worlds of Marvel, assemble for a heroic dining adventure of epic proportions! Explore state-of-the-art quantum tech at the Avengers Technology Showcase while indulging in flavorful global cuisines—from classic all-American fare to rich African flavors—inspired by some of your favorite heroes. During dinner, leap into your own action-packed Super Hero story. Some of your favorite Avengers might turn to you to help them save the day! It’s a cinematic dining experience for the entire family.

Finally, 1923 takes you back in time to classic Hollywood. The restaurant is named after the year The Walt Disney Studios was founded. This sophisticated dining establishment evokes the glitz and glamor of Hollywood while celebrating the unwavering spirit of the original studio that started it all. Travel back in time as you dine amid storyboards, sketches and props that illustrate the early animation process, while delighting in some of the tantalizing flavors found throughout the Golden State.

Adult-Only Spaces Onboard the Disney Wish

As is the case on other Disney Cruise Line ships, adults can dine, relax and immerse themselves in magical settings designed just for them. On the Disney Wish you’ll find upscale restaurants and sophisticated lounges, an expansive pool area and a world-class spa.

Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge

At Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge, guests can watch worlds drift by and enjoy views of Coruscant, Tattoine and Batuu at this stylish space bar boasting stellar views, where you can sit back and sip on some out-of-this-world concoctions while being transported throughout the Star Wars galaxy. Families are invited to experience this interstellar watering hole during the day. But at night, the lounge jumps to lightspeed and becomes a club with a cantina-like vibe exclusively for adults.

Beauty and the Beast Inspired Dining Experiences

Adult exclusive dining can be found at two restaurants onboard the Disney Wish, Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté.

Palo Steakhouse – Prepare to be pampered at this elegant, adults-only restaurant. It’s inspired by the lovable pomp and circumstance of Cogsworth, the enchanted clock from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. An evolution of the Palo restaurant that Disney cruisers already know and love, Palo Steakhouse offers a scrumptious selection of premium steaks and exquisite Italian dishes. Featuring 2 distinct dining areas amid a warm, tranquil atmosphere with spectacular ocean views, Palo Steakhouse—one of 3 new Beauty and the Beast adults-only, dining experiences on the Disney Wish—serves up subtle nods to Beast’s loyal majordomo throughout its magnificent décor. It’s a timeless tale come to life!

Enchanté – Epicurean excellence awaits inside Enchanté. This opulent, adults-only restaurant evokes the spirit of the romance-loving character of Lumiere from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. A mouthwatering menu featuring innovative, new recipes based on classic French fare crafted by 3-Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement invites diners to please their palate like never before, while sweeping ocean views amid a luxurious, illuminated atmosphere provide an unforgettable evening of enchantment.

The Rose is the perfect spot to sip a cocktail surrounded by antique mirrors and floating rose petals. This elegant, adult-exclusive lounge is reminiscent of the enchanted castle from Beauty and the Beast!

Senses Spa

At Senses Spa, guests can treat themselves to tranquility and world-class comfort at this nature-inspired oasis offering rejuvenating spa and beauty treatments, which also features a fitness center and a spin studio.

Quiet Cove

Retreat to a relaxing, adults-only refuge at Quiet Cove. Quiet Cove will feature an infinity pool, bar and poolside lounge—dedicated to swimming, savoring drinks and soaking up the sun. Separated from the bustle of family activities, this adults-only escape spans an entire section of the ship’s upper decks. It’s your onboard oasis at sea.

Disney’s Oceaneer Club

Disney is known for their kid-friendly experiences, so you know the kids clubs onboard the ship have to be incredible! Imaginatively themed spaces bursting with Disney storytelling and packed with fun-filled activities hosted by specially trained counselors await children inside Disney’s Oceaneer Club aboard the Disney Wish:

Marvel Super Hero Academy – Young Avengers, stand ready! Children ages 3 to 12 are invited to spring into action and train alongside some of their favorite Marvel Super Heroes, including Spider-Man, Black Panther, Ant-Man and The Wasp! Inside this sleek headquarters, kids can unleash the hero within as they team up and select their very own super suit—and then put it to the test in a battle with some infamous villains of the Marvel Universe.

Walt Disney Imagineering Lab – Be a Disney Imagineer! Imagine what it would be like to create your own Disney attraction. At the Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, kids can do just that! Through exciting hands-on activities, children will get a unique behind-the-scenes peek and discover how Disney magic is made. Kids will also get to tap into their own imagination and design their very own roller coaster in the style of attraction classics like Big Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain—and climb into a specially designed capsule to actually ride it!

Fairytale Hall – Step inside a magical storybook setting come to life—and enjoy special visits from the Disney Princesses themselves! Inside Fairytale Hall, young royals can craft floating lanterns at Rapunzel’s Art Studio, act out their favorite stories in Belle’s Library, and even create their own ice magic at Anna & Elsa’s Sommerhus.

“it’s a small world” Nursery

Additionally, at the “it’s a small world” Nursery, even the littlest ones onboard can have an amazing time. In this whimsical daycare center inspired by the beloved Disney attraction, little cruisers 6 months to 3 years of age can relax and play, while being looked after by specially trained counselors and visited by some special Disney friends.

Finally, of course the ship will have dedicated spaces for tweens and teens! Disney Wish Itineraries

The Disney Wish will set sail on her maiden voyage June 9-14, 2022, a 5-night sailing to the Bahamas from Port Canaveral. Following that, Disney Wish will embark on a summer season of 3-night and 4-night sailings to the Bahamas out of Port Canaveral. These itineraries will include ports in Nassau and Disney Castaway Cay.
